Zumintxaz is much more than a country guest house. It is a refuge in the middle of nature, located in Mungia, in a privileged setting in Bizkaia. Here, you can marvel at the beautiful views of San Juan de Gaztelugatxe and Bakio beach. Our guest house is immersed in the purity of the slopes of Mount Jata, very close to the historic Hermitage of San Miguel de Zumetxaga, a jewel cared for by our family for generations.
We pride ourselves on being LGTBIQ+ friendly, where all people are welcome and respected. Our aim is to create a welcoming and safe environment for all our guests, where they can relax and enjoy an unforgettable holiday.

Our Guest House
ZUMINTXAZ has 6 apartments, all with a spacious open-concept living and dining room, with a functional, fully-equipped kitchen, a large bathroom and one bedroom with a double bed. Two of our apartments have two bedrooms.
ZUMINTXAZ also has an apartment adapted for people with reduced mobility.
Outside, you can enjoy our relaxing patio equipped with hammocks and a beautiful garden with spectacular views.
In order to provide you with an unforgettable experience, we have made improvements to the exterior, including a picnic area with tables and barbecues, as well as a relaxing area with sofas and a garden table. We have also set up a play area with a trampoline, goals, slide, swings and climbing wall, where fun is guaranteed. And let’s not forget our versatile multifunctional room, perfect for practising yoga, organising company meetings or planning activities with mountain groups.

An enchanting landscape surrounded by oak and chestnut trees where you’ll be able to visit the Hermitage of Saint Michael in Zumetxaga, built in the 12th century on the eastern slope of Mount Jata.
